Tamsin's House of Sharp Things And Presently Not Enough Alcohol, Thursday Evening

For a couple of minutes, Tamsin had contemplated the idea of just opening up Town Hall for the party, but... what would be the point in that? People were fired up on hormones, people wanted to get laid, you needed a space small enough to get 'em close together. So to speak.

Also, this way she got free booze out of the deal, so-- win win.

She'd hung the black sheets back in front of the large store windows (partly to keep the light out, partly so it was slightly less obvious the house was technically a shop she was technically maybe squatting in). She'd tossed a ton of pillows and an old mattress on the floor, since she didn't actually have a sofa, per sé. The rooms upstairs were... well, okay, they were rooms.

And there was a table for incoming booze. With solo cups. Of course.

Perfect. Time for a party. If anyone had seen the posters...

Normally, Irene did not go to parties that were advertised on flyers.

But, normally, Irene was not in the position she had found herself this week and -- look, beggars could not exactly be choosers, and while she was not going to just willingly think of herself as a beggar here...going to a party with other adults was probably a brilliant idea. (Or at least probably a better idea than just hitting on anything that crossed her path.)

She wandered in bearing two bottles of wine (one red, one white, naturally), along with a bag of goodies from Dite's -- condoms, little bottles of lube, edible body paint....

When one was the sex shop lady, one occasionally had to act like the sex shop lady, and she figured it'd be appreciated. (Of course, the sweater was Donna Karan, because just because she was using a beggar metaphor in her narrative, she certainly wasn't going to dress like one.

Jack had run out of ways to distract himself, so he'd been grateful to see the fliers for the party. It would be nice to spend an evening around people who were old enough for him to look at. (And possibly even touch, if the circumstances seemed right -- his agreement with Emma included exceptions for island weirdness and the extremely hot.)

"This was the best idea," he announced as he came in. He was wearing a tank top under his coat and carrying a bottle of vodka, some tonic, and a lime. "I think we all needed a party."

Hatter had an entire wine cellar at his disposal so he'd grabbed a few bottles and brought them along. He'd also brought a few smaller bottles that were labeled with different emotions.

Might as well bring those along too, right? They were in a smaller bag that he had over his shoulder.

Jones had only brought one bottle of booze to the party. Not because she planned on drinking but since the flyer had instructed to bring one for the host.

She also might have mistaken this as a means to discover why the students were amorous than usual.

Ordinarily, Éponine wouldn't share her stash of booze with anyone, but this week was messing with her already shaky at best sense of judgment. (Case in point: she was here, despite knowing what this week did to people.)

But it was one of those weeks, and so here she was with four bottles in her arms -- a couple of different kinds of whiskey, gin, and peach schnapps. Full ones, even, not any of the dozen open ones she had at home. She actually did have several layers on under the coat that was buttoned up tight, though; pollen or not, she'd spent enough winters barefoot and barely clothed that she never wanted to do it again.

Tony arrived with a bottle of juice if the kids ask because cartoon nice scotch. Probably a little too nice for the little get together, but thems the breaks.

Abbi was very new to town, and the promise of an underground party was just the right way to make her feel at home.

She had a tight dress on, two bottles of dangerously cheap vodka in her hands, and heels that had proven too weak for the stairsy terrain. Yay, party!

Allie came in bearing a bottle of rum and a bottle of something shiny (http://www.viniq.com/). She had no idea how it was supposed to taste, but maybe someone would be willing to try.

A few days earlier she'd figured out what had her so on edge. That combined with almost going up in flames in L.A. thanks to the wish wearing off had her hating the island this week.

If asked Eliot would say he was way too old to go to a make-out party. Except for how he was totally showing up at the make-out party. It was next door and beat the hell out of sitting around wondering if his friends were having sex, so.

He didn't bring anything though. That would require preplanning, rather than just showing up.

Yeah, of course Mike showed up. There was no way he would've missed this after the week he'd had, productive though it had been.

He also brought a ton of beer with him. He was a good guest like that. (His shirt also didn't have sleeves. He was a good partygoer like that, too.)

Pammy brought booze. Enough booze for a small army. Look, they'd said to bring her own, and Pammy could fucking drink. If she was supposed to have enough to share, then she'd better have a fuckload.

Bottles of absinthe were okay, right? She also brought some half-gallon cartons of milk. She didn't judge how you made Green Russians.

Fuck glasses, she was going to be chugging straight out of the cartons. That's why they had handy spouts on 'em.

So! That was booze taken care of. Now, to get laid. This was totally gonna be an orgy, right? Please?

John Constantine was easy. Anyone could tell you that. If you were pretty, and had no expectations, you were his type.

He wasn't going to show up empty-handed, though. He'd lifted a case of Black Sheep Best Bitter, just for the occasion, in case there was nothing else but American piss at the party.

All right. So Vic and Tamsin never really hit it off well at the beginning but after spending most evenings being anti-social, booze and adults sounded somewhat inviting.

Of course she brought a six pack of Pabst Blue Ribbon. In cans.

Bo had considered not bringing any drinks, since the idea of loosening her inhibitions further by drinking in mixed (as in human and not) company was dumb as shit questionable and the hostess had already helped herself to her free +1 on Monday. She'd also considered not being here at all, but... Monday was already starting to wear off, and at least in said mixed company there'd be some people she knew were safe from her doing them any harm.

And they deserved alcohol. Just not her depleted supply of the best alcohol, which was why she came armed with a sixpack under each arm. Butthead Amber Ale and...Dark Belch.

"I solemnly promise that this is good beer," she said as she plopped one of the packs down on a table. "Sexy beer, not so much."

On one hand, it was cold as hell outside, and that made Atticus not want to leave his apartment at all. On the other hand, he was curious about the people in this town, and this seemed like a good, non-creeperish way to meet them. So, he arrived with two bottles of Irish whiskey in hand and looked around for whoever might want to take one from him.

So, Kitty being here was Irene's fault, and she wasn't looking to hook up with anyone not her boyfriend, but... it might be interesting? And she could easily play wingwoman for her besties if they needed it? And here, she even brought some whiskey because she figured they'd be stocked up on things like vodka by now.

Clint came in shortly after Kitty, clutching some bottles of spiced rum. He wasn't really a strong booze guy - beer was so much more his speed - so this was less about sharing and more about giving stuff away.

Jono really wasn't completely certain what he was doing here, except that there had been an invite, and he couldn't block out the mood from everyone on the bloody island indefinitely, and he had a bottle of... some manner of wine that he wasn't going to be drinking himself for obvious reasons.

So, curiosity had gotten the better of him. He clearly wasn't here to do much in the way of snogging, after all. Maybe he'd just set a foot in the door, look around, give a satisfied nod that he'd gotten this far, and bail?

If nothing else, it would get the wine he was never going to drink out of his cupboards.
