For a couple of minutes, Tamsin had contemplated the idea of just opening up Town Hall for the party, but... what would be the point in that? People were fired up on hormones, people wanted to get laid, you needed a space small enough to get 'em close together. So to speak.

Also, this way she got free booze out of the deal, so-- win win.

She'd hung the black sheets back in front of the large store windows (partly to keep the light out, partly so it was slightly less obvious the house was technically a shop she was technically maybe squatting in). She'd tossed a ton of pillows and an old mattress on the floor, since she didn't actually have a sofa, per sé. The rooms upstairs were... well, okay, they were rooms.

And there was a table for incoming booze. With solo cups. Of course.

Perfect. Time for a party. If anyone had seen the posters...

"Couldn't agree more."

He leaned towards her, because of course he did.

"Not that there's anything wrong with makeouts."

"Not at all," Navaan said, reaching out for him at the same time. Hmm, maybe she should tell him about the contest she was trying to get Pam to agree to. Because hell yes. "But they're more fun when they're the start of something, not the end."

He would've been pretty interested in that contest. Yes.

He was also interested in makeouts, so, after he said "Agreed" – yeah she was getting kissed.

The night was still young! There was plenty of time for invitations to contests later!

For now, though, kissing. And Navaan was definitely going to be as handsy as Mike would let her get away with. Chest, arms, abs, ass...she needed to do a thorough inventory of his body, okay? She was a doctor, here!

Mike would've hated for her to not be thorough on his account. Really, he could even be persuaded to lose his shirt, because somehow he had until then managed to get through the evening without taking it off.

And he wasn't a doctor, but he got to be a little handsy too, right? It seemed only fair.

Mike not being a doctor was a point in his favor! That meant that they wouldn't have to go back to being professional rivals in the morning!

Their kiss lasted until Mike's shirt came off and then Navaan simply had to show her appreciation in a more tangible way. His chest just required a love-bite, didn't it? Navaan thought so! She leaned down to nip him ~~moving slowly enough that he could absolutely stop her if he wanted~~.

Yeah, guess it did require a lovebite, didn't it? Mike certainly had no objections to being nipped.

A gasp did not an objection make, anyway.

So long as he had no objections, she was going to work her way from one side of his chest to the other, fingers outlining his abs. "You're wearing too many clothes," she complained when her wandering fingers brushed up against his pants.

"Then," he breathed (and when, exactly, had he gotten all short of breath?), "maybe we should take this somewhere a little more private, and you can have me in as few clothes as you want."

"There's an upstairs," Navaan pointed out. She even had a cloak, so they wouldn't have to wrestle a mattress up the stairs!

If the upstairs didn't work for him, Navaan was ready to suggest the dark corners, outside, his place, her place, the roof, and any convenient alleys.

ALL CLASS.

"The upstairs is fine."

More than fine. Amazingly fine and great. He was already trying to get up.

... As in, off the mattress where he currently was.

Any other kind of up he was trying for and Navaan would have to ask if he was a eunuch.

"Then let's go," Navaan said, not bothering for patience when good sex was on the line. "We'll see if we make it up the stairs."

She was angling for 'no.'

Yeah, she was probably going to get that. With the way Mike was feeling, just getting out of people's immediate line of sight would be fine.

"Lead the way."

See? He was giving her control.

Oh was he in for an exciting interlude if he kept that up, Navaan in control was...interesting.

For now, though, she'd settle leading him towards the stairs. Annnd not by the hand, no.
