For a couple of minutes, Tamsin had contemplated the idea of just opening up Town Hall for the party, but... what would be the point in that? People were fired up on hormones, people wanted to get laid, you needed a space small enough to get 'em close together. So to speak.

Also, this way she got free booze out of the deal, so-- win win.

She'd hung the black sheets back in front of the large store windows (partly to keep the light out, partly so it was slightly less obvious the house was technically a shop she was technically maybe squatting in). She'd tossed a ton of pillows and an old mattress on the floor, since she didn't actually have a sofa, per sé. The rooms upstairs were... well, okay, they were rooms.

And there was a table for incoming booze. With solo cups. Of course.

Perfect. Time for a party. If anyone had seen the posters...

Tony arrived with a bottle of ~~juice if the kids ask because cartoon~~ nice scotch. Probably a little too nice for the little get together, but thems the breaks.

"It's like college all over again."

Only now he was legal for these things! How novel.

"Pffft, I'm way too old for college," Tamsin said dryly.

She looked like she was only a little bit too old for college, but take it from her, she definitely was. "Hi. Nice ensemble."

Whether she was talking about his outfit or his booze or both was kind of up in the air.

"Hi, don't think we've met," Tony replied, offering over the bottle.

The bottle was getting grabbed first. Priorities, okay? There were enough hot people around here, she could be picky. ... in whether to address the booze or the hot person first.

"I'm Tamsin," she offered. "Welcome to the party, make yourself at home, yadda yadda."

"Tony," he replied, more than a little amused by the manners. Or lack there of. "Nice to meet you."

"It's a pleasure," Tamsin said. That was about as polite as she got. "I'm really digging the goatee, by the way."

You are just so lucky Tony had more class than other people and did not immediately go with 'mustache ride', Tamsin.

So lucky.

"It's a signature," Tony replied. "I'm digging your--well its tough to pick one thing here."

Flattery, thy name is Tony Stark

"I know," Tamsin sighed.

What? She knew.

"We have some shadowy corners if you want to dig something else later," she added.

Tamsin.

That got a startled laugh out of Tony. "Oh, I like you already."

"That part's optional," Tamsin said, "But nice."

"Hello, buddy!" Irene greeted him happily. Look, look, it was someone she could class it up with! "I've been terribly remiss and didn't warn you about this week, but to be fair, I didn't know it was going to do this to us, either."

"There's a reason for this?"

"Something to do with pollen," Irene explained helpfully. "I don't really get it, but yes, there's definitely a reason."

"Next time I'm installing air filters for this." Because this time was a lost cause on focusing.

Science had abandoned him!

"Well, that's no fun," Irene pointed out with a slight pout. "Though it is sort of like having ADD and being fifteen again and just...wholly unable to focus. Air filters aren't a bad idea if it goes on this long again."

"I don't remember being this bad at fifteen." Maybe because he was finishing his first round of college then.

"Then you were a weird fifteen year-old," Irene decided, sensitively.

"...that's accurate."

"It's all right," Irene assured him. "Normal's severely overrated."

"Oooh, scotch," Abbi said approvingly. "My college parties didn't have scotch. It was more like Everclear and off-brand tequila."

Ah, memories.

"For me it was whatever could be found or made." Engineers were hardcore.

"Crafty," Abbi marveled. "I think I'm getting some of that creativity with age. Did you know there are bras that hold alcohol that you can drink right from a straw? It's like, it's like technology is finally right where it needs to be." She was very animated about this topic. Technology was amazing.

"I didn't, but now I know what to get for Christmas gifts next year." TONY NO.

"Do it," Abbi encouraged. "They're awesome. I feel like it's only a matter of time before we build all our clothes to hold as much alcohol as possible."

"Does that mean someone's got weed?" Pam asked. Hope sprung eternal, at least where Pam was concerned. "'Cause I have cash if anyone's got weed."
