Tamsin's House of Sharp Things And Presently Not Enough Alcohol, Thursday Evening

For a couple of minutes, Tamsin had contemplated the idea of just opening up Town Hall for the party, but... what would be the point in that? People were fired up on hormones, people wanted to get laid, you needed a space small enough to get 'em close together. So to speak.

Also, this way she got free booze out of the deal, so-- win win.

She'd hung the black sheets back in front of the large store windows (partly to keep the light out, partly so it was slightly less obvious the house was technically a shop she was technically maybe squatting in). She'd tossed a ton of pillows and an old mattress on the floor, since she didn't actually have a sofa, per sé. The rooms upstairs were... well, okay, they were rooms.

And there was a table for incoming booze. With solo cups. Of course.

Perfect. Time for a party. If anyone had seen the posters...

So, he totally must have ID'd Cheryl, based on the panicked stare.

"Sooooo," Pam said, frowning. "Is that like a dealbreaker? I wasn't gonna tell her."

He was welcome to go sit in the living room and bask in it, if he wanted to. Tamsin wouldn't argue. Just saying.

"Fantastic," she said. "Then the crappy wine is an acceptable offering. Make sure to take your coat off. And maybe your shirt." Beat. "Though you could also go pants if that makes you more comfortable."

"Why do I get the feeling no one in this town ever gets in trouble for anything?" Atticus said, laughing softly before giving Hannibal a more appraising look. "You look interesting too, and I swear, that's not just this week talking."

"If that's a problem, I could just knock her out," Tamsin said. She was the practical sort. "Though hey, I'm probably going to have a house covered in mattresses for the next couple of weeks, so... more opportunity there."

//... No, no not really the dealbreaker it could be,// Jono replied. Especially this week. //I appreciate the not telling her.//

No, really. He did. Because 'stalker obsessed' was very much not his cup of tea at the moment.

//Coat and shirt I can do,// Jono decided. //I'll leave the bandages on for now, and I'll save my trousers for somebody to help me with later.//

They framed his ass very, very nicely, was the thing.

Clint made a noise like Kitty was the meanest girlfriend ever. Why did she have to know so many of his weak spots? "Okay, go talk to her. You have my blessing or whatever."

She practiced at finding those weak spots, that's why.

"You are the best boyfriend ever," Kitty said, giving him another kiss before pulling back to go find Irene.

Hey, Tamsin couldn't argue with that logic.

She held up a thumbs-up. "Works for me," she said. "I'll be by to ogle later."

She was pretty sure she was booked up into next month at this point, but that didn't mean she couldn't look.

It was not trashy. Or at least Mike didn't think it was, although that might have been because he didn't care about those kinds of things at all, ever.

His hand went to her cheek as he kissed her.

//I'll probably be around to be ogled for a while,// Jono replied, giving an approving nod to the thumbs-up as he shrugged his coat off.

It really helped that she was nothing at all like Dinah personality-wise, or the uncanny similarity between their faces might've made that entire exchange awkward.

... Or not at all, given the mood.

Yes, lucky for Jono, Tamsin was more or less the anti-Dinah. And ogling his arms pretty intently as that jacket came off. Mmm. Yes, she was feeling pretty good about this one.

"Nice," she added, just in case he hadn't parsed that one from the looking.

//Thank you,// he replied, because he was feeling just amorous enough that he wasn't going to get flustered over a compliment at the moment. The shirt came off next, showing off the shoulders that went with those arms.

They were also nice, for the record.

//Now, how many layers were you planning on keeping on tonight?//

And here he'd been awkwardly standing in the doorway a few minutes ago.

... You know, that was a good question no one had asked her tonight. "I guess I could get rid of this old thing," she sighed, tugging her shirt off and tossing it. "The rest of it, you people are going to have to earn."

Really? Shame on everyone here. Honestly, people, talk about your missed opportunities. Jono was the one who was taking a moment to appreciate the view, now.

//Seems like a worthy goal,// he mused. //You're rather a lot of fun to ogle, yourself.//

"I know."

Humility was for kids, okay?

Tamsin waved vaguely at herself - bra and abs and all. "Look away."

Abbi wouldn't admit it, but she was pretty trashy most of the time. Possibly all the time. It was better when she just leaned into it.

Similar to the way she was leaning into Mike right now, messing up his hair (such as it was) unselfconsciously as both of her hands found their way to the back of his head.

She was kind of an aggressive kisser. Not in a way that was necessarily bad, but it warranted mentioning.

Was that 'look away,' as in 'feel free to look,' or 'look away' as in 'look away?' Mind, with the gesture and the shamelessness, Jono figured it was safe to assume she meant the first. He was also pretty certain, as of this moment, that he was an 'abs' kind of man. He took another moment to appreciate the view, and then gave a satisfied nod as he crossed his arms in front of himself.

//Not ten minutes in the door, and this party is looking excellent already. Well done. I don't usually like parties at all.//

"I try to make it as painless as possible," Tamsin said, shrugging casually. "You're welcome, dude."

She'd also basically just set the whole thing up so the island could stop whining about how wound up they were and started doing something about it, so that probably helped.

Navaan had most certainly dressed appropriately for this. There was going to be a party during a sexy week? Fuck yeah, this was a job for a fruit viking (http://ic.pics.livejournal.com/doesdoctorstuff/54143955/8840/8840_600.jpg).

Oh yeah, Navaan was definitely drinking here. "If anyone needs help with that, I'm here!" she announced.

"I just want you both to know that I am right here, ready and willing," she announced, adjusting her belt of cherries.

The cherries were meant to be ironic. And also garnishes. Navaan was an innovator that way.

Hell yeah they did. And speaking of things people had done (well...sorta), there was Navaan giving Pam a big grin. "I know you're drinking for that one!"

Sunglasses didn't seem to be around at the party, but hell yeah Navaan remembered Pammy.
