On Monday, Tamsin woke up.

This was only notable in the sense that over the past two days, that had not technically been the case.

But yes, Tamsin woke up-- spat some brown hair out of her mouth and squinted up at the brunette it belonged to.

Then she spat out some very foul words.

Tamsin's eyebrows did a thing that established that yes, she knew, and no, it didn't change any of the aforementioned terms.

"I'm just saying. There is no sass-free option on this menu. Even the chicken soup was packaged in a facility that may or may not have also been used to process sass or sass by-prod--- heeeeeeey." Speaking of menus...

"I fed off you."

Tamsin let out an irritated sigh - or was it resigned? Maybe it laid somewhere in the middle. "Yes, you did," she agreed. "So now I get that old adage about succubi giving people a happy death or whatever."

"That'd be kind of dumb, since you're not dead." Which might, just might, be the source of the what the fuck in Bo's tone.

"Don't flatter yourself," Tamsin said. "It takes more than a make-out session and some fancy light effects to kill me."

"Which means you're not human," Bo pointed out. "Not that I was trying to kill you, but I'm only just learning how to keep things under control when I remember my name and shoe size. When I don't?"

Tamsin rolled her eyes. "When is the last time you met anyone on this island who was human? Technically."

"Kenzi." To be fair, that question would've worked on almost anyone else in Fandom. Bo just happened to live with a human so human that other Fae had pointed out she was human. In the course of more or less referring to her as a pet, but details. "Among others; Fandom can be a lot less weird than it looks, when it comes to people I can't feed on without risking their lives."

"Well, congratulations, you found out I'm one of the 50% of people on this island who don't fall into that category," Tamsin drawled. "Go ahead, arrest me."

Tamsin rolled her eyes and picked one of her (now-empty) bottles up off the floor. "Ugh, I'm going to have to go shopping," she said.

Bo took a scout around the place with her newly Bo-cognizant brain. "At the Boozahol Superstore?"

"Unless you have some liquor I can replace it with," Tamsin said.

"Not on me..." Demonstrably. "Though I do work in a bar."

"Smuggle me back a couple of bottles and we'll forget about all this," Tamsin said.

Seriously. They'd had a lot to drink that weekend. She had the collection but didn't like, down all of it like this.
