Tamsin had drinks.

A lot of drinks.

"I can't believe we sent a guy who looks like Kid Rock this year," she muttered, settling down on the sofa. "And of course the Swedes beamed their act in from the Let's Get Physical video. Ugh. They are the worst."

It was Eurovision Final day, y'all. And while Tamsin hadn't set up for a party, party, she may have casually mentioned a viewing partner at her place on the message board.

She didn't think anyone would come, though, which was why she had her phone out and her Twitter account primed.

Well, there was a Tony. Hopefully he counted.

"Have I missed anything interesting?" If so, he brought food to even out the booze.

"Oh have you ever," Tamsin called. "Croatia didn't know whether to go classical opera or ranty pop song, and there was yodeling. From Romania."

"You are do lucky there's no Latveria in this reality," Tony informed her, offering a bag of burgers.

"Why, what are their Eurovision acts like?" Tamsin asked, snatching the food out of his hands.

"Never seen them compete, but I'm pretty sure it'd be a bunch of Doombots singing about Doom like Gregorian monks."

Which was hilarious and terrifying.

"It'd probably get novelty points," Tamsin mused. "But it could get suck in the semis." She snagged a burger and took a big bite.

"You are really into this," Tony said with a grin, grabbing one for himself.

"Sometimes it's good to wallow in the stupidity of my ancestors," Tamsin said primly.

Tony just laughed at that. "With yodeling."

"It's a super-accurate representation of Romanian culture."

[imafuturist]

"Oh, I'm sure." Having spent so much time in Romania and all. "Very cultural."

[fjordicswagger]

"So sit down and watch this stupid crap with me," Tamsin instructed. "It'll be fun!"

Or insane. Or both.

"You're very lucky you have alcohol here," Tony informed her, taking a seat.

"Can't do Eurovision without booze," Tamsin said. "I think there's a law in Europe."

"Well, I wouldn't want to be breaking any laws," Tony replied dryly. "Who are we rooting for here?"

[fjordicswagger]

"Norway," Tamsin said without missing a beat.

"Yay, Norway," Tony said dutifully.
