74 Godiva Street, AKA Tamsin and Death's Home Of More Alcohol Than Last Year, Saturday Evening

Okay, this party had been born out of actual need (for alcohol and getting laid) last year; this year, those factors weren't as urgent for Tamsin, who figured she could always drop in on Jessica or Mike if the night was a spectacular failure.

But hell, it'd been fun last time. Why the hell not?

There were black sheets hanging in front of the windows again, and pillows and sheets scattered all over the floor to make for little makeshift sitting spaces and nooks. There was an empty bottle (in case someone decided to play Spin the Bottle) sitting somewhere in the middle of the room, and in a fit of generosity Tamsin had thoughtfully supplied a bunch of bags of chips in case people wanted to eat stuff.

The glitter clinging to the sheets and the walls and whatnot: not her fault. Who'd ever heard of impromptu localized glitter storms before? At least the winds had died down well before the party actually started, but there was no way in hell she was vacuuming all that stuff up.

There. Party time.

When properly motivated? Not really. It was strange, right?

Tony helpfully tilted his head a little and put his hand on Sparkle's hip to steady him. "How much have you had to drink so far?"

Because he really didn't want to actually take advantage here.

Sparkle chuckled a little at that. The concern was actually kind of sweet, in a way that Sparkle never really expected people to be sweet. He appreciated it, though, leaning back and licking his lips a little.

"Enough to be flirty, not nearly enough to not know what the hell I'm doing," he promised. "I want to say 'if I was actually drunk, you'd know,' but I dance on tables for fun when I'm sober. So."

"Good," Tony replied, cupping Sparkle's jaw with his free hand to pull him forward for a kiss.

Look, someone had spent too much of his twenties and... some of his thirties living down to expectations. It wasn't something he wanted to do again.

Expectations were for other people. People who were not currently making out in the shadows after a week of sexual frustration.

Those people didn't know what they were missing, goddamn.

Sparkle, though? Sparkle was quite pleased with this turn of events, because Tony was still one hell of a kisser, and this time they weren't even randomly madly in love for no apparently reason. Score. Sparkle reached one hand up to place on the back of Tony's head, fingers running through his hair.

Coming up for air could happen... eventually. Just not right this minute, apparently.

Well, they did have this nice pile of pillows that made the whole party seem like it was set in the 70's with a fishbowl full of keys somewhere. So, glasses houses, yes.

Tony hummed happily at the fingers in his hair, having no problem with almost pulling Sparkle into his lap for this to continue.

Oooh, closer? Sparkle could do closer. Sparkle could get right up close and comfortable, would be quite happy to press himself up against Tony and kiss him for all he was worth. That actually seemed like an excellent direction to steer this evening in. Or to be steered in, by Tony.

Who, and it was worth repeating, was a fantastic kisser. If Tony wanted him actually in his lap, Sparkle would be more than happy to oblige, in fact.

A week's worth of sexual frustration! It was probably a wonder there weren't some more, ah, enthusiastic displays around them.

"Well, this isn't how I expected my evening to go," Tony muttered, kissing at his jawline. Because it was there and Tony was pretty affectionate. It was disgusting. Really.

Seriously, super gross. Which was probably why Sparkle was leaning his head sideways a little and making that pleased humming sound, there.

"Good thing? Bad thing?"

If you said it was a bad thing, Tony, Sparkle would probably bite you.

He was a menace who was probably going to give Sparkle an interesting lovebite or two to explain tomorrow.

"A different thing," Tony replied diplomatically. "How did you expect yours?"

As if anybody ever thought too hard about it when Sparkle had lovebites. Especially after a week like this one.

"Mostly I figured I'd at least have something to drink if I didn't have someone to make out with," he replied, smirking. "Basically, I couldn't lose."

Unless somebody took the alcohol away and he still didn't get any. That would've been tragic.

He would have cried and had to build a pillow fort to survive.

"See, my plans were pretty similar. Though they generally ended with trying to work until I fell asleep in my lab."

Yeah, but if he played his cards right, at least he'd maybe still have a lap to use as a pillow?

"See, I'd question the wisdom in drinking and then doing much work in your lab," Sparkle mused, "but I get the impression that you're really good with your hands."

Shameless. Just shameless.

"That was a terrible line," Tony replied. Even though he was grinning because it was also hilarious. And he in no way helped by putting those hands on Sparkle's ass.

"But I can't help but notice that nobody is denying anything," Sparkle replied, encouraged by those hands on his ass to lean forward for some more kissing. Because there were hands on his ass and that was basically the greatest development of the week, right there.

Sparkle. Sparkle. That was clearly not something you wanted to be the highlight of your week. It made Tony sad for the island as a whole.

Tony hummed and kissed him back. There was even a shrug in there, but it was probably missed. Oh nooooo.

Sparkle was so not paying attention to the shrug. The highlight of his week - sad or not - was doing that humming and kissing thing, and that was exactly the sort of thing that drove Sparkle nuts in all the right ways. All of them. Every last one.

Go on, Tony. Tell him that this was sad. But you'd have to reclaim your mouth for that, and Sparkle was way more interested in what your tongue could do when you weren't using it to speak, right now.

Okay, that was a pretty decent incentive to drag one hand up Sparkle's spine to curl around the back of his neck to give a little squeeze. Also encouraged him to open his mouth to really show what a misspent youth taught him about kissing.

This was just going to end in things being thrown at them.

Even if it did? So worth it. Every bit worth it. It might take a few things being thrown at them to convince Sparkle it was time to stop, mind.

His takeaway from this, at this point, was that Tony's misspent youth was spent learning all of the best life skills.

Now it was Sparkle's turn to put his hands on Tony's ass. Because it was a very nice ass, and it would be a shame to let it feel all left out.

Superheroing did do wonderful things for you as an exercise routine.

Tony inhaled sharply, sitting up a little more attentively and pulling Sparkle in close enough to be chest to chest. And hopefully Sparkle was paying more attention to Tony's ass and less to the odd bump in the middle of his chest. That'd be awesome.

It was a very distracting ass! It did have that going for it! But either way, Sparkle had gotten really cozy with guys who had head tentacles, before. Some built-in bling was hardly the weirdest thing he'd encountered during a hot make-out session.

Odd chest bump or no, Sparkle didn't seem to have any complaints about the whole chest-to-chest arrangement. He rather seemed to be embracing it, actually, grinning against Tony's mouth for a moment before kissing him with just that much more enthusiasm. There was another hum of approval to go with it, in fact. It was okay, Tony. You and your chest bump were doing great.

Well, it did cockblock him earlier this week. For other reasons, of course.

"Tamsin is really going to murder me," Tony informed him, looking a little pleased with himself despite that, eyes half shut like the cat that got the canary. "If we go much further than this. And that's normally a little bit of a turn on, but I'd hate to have someone else get stabbed on my behalf."

Well, now it was Sparkle's turn to pout. Just a little. They had been doing such a good job of kissing, and now thinking was necessary? Who even did that?

But he had to admit, Tony kind of had a point, there.

"I have this terrible allergy to being stabbed," he allowed, licking his lips and shaking his head. "It causes all this, like, bleeding? Pretty awful. Of course, we could always go somewhere with less potential for stabbing..."

Tony tended to be a worrier. It was his thing. He had back up plans for his back up plans!

"Well, if you're allergic..."

"Deathly allergic," Sparkle confirmed. Ever so solemnly. "I mean, I don't have a doctor's note with me or anything, so you'll have to take my word for it..."

It was totally a hard sell, right?

"I'll take your word for it," Tony promised solemnly, gingerly pushing Sparkle off his lap so they could get up. And. You know. Get ride of some of this frustration. "I expect coffee in the morning."
