For a couple of minutes, Tamsin had contemplated the idea of just opening up Town Hall for the party, but... what would be the point in that? People were fired up on hormones, people wanted to get laid, you needed a space small enough to get 'em close together. So to speak.

Also, this way she got free booze out of the deal, so-- win win.

She'd hung the black sheets back in front of the large store windows (partly to keep the light out, partly so it was slightly less obvious the house was technically a shop she was technically maybe squatting in). She'd tossed a ton of pillows and an old mattress on the floor, since she didn't actually have a sofa, per sé. The rooms upstairs were... well, okay, they were rooms.

And there was a table for incoming booze. With solo cups. Of course.

Perfect. Time for a party. If anyone had seen the posters...

Pammy brought booze. Enough booze for a small army. Look, they'd said to bring her own, and Pammy could fucking drink. If she was supposed to have enough to share, then she'd better have a fuckload.

Bottles of absinthe were okay, right? She also brought some half-gallon cartons of milk. She didn't judge how you made Green Russians.

Fuck glasses, she was going to be chugging straight out of the cartons. That's why they had handy spouts on 'em.

So! That was booze taken care of. Now, to get laid. This was totally gonna be an orgy, right? Please?

Tamsin wasn't going to argue with an orgy. Or with all that booze. Tamsin was wondering if it was at all possible to bang everyone at this party before the pollen wore off, actually.

"You are my new favorite person," she said to Pam.

"Are you the hostess?" Pam asked brightly, holding out one of the bottles as a greeting. "Cause if so, that shit's mutual. I haven't been to an orgy in years."

She was not going to try hosting one. Their house was sort of semi-unfinished, and Cheryl might set people on fire. Which tended to bring orgies to a screeching halt.

Pam seemed like the kind of person who'd appreciate a compliment like that.

"If that's a problem, I could just knock her out," Tamsin said. She was the practical sort. "Though hey, I'm probably going to have a house covered in mattresses for the next couple of weeks, so... more opportunity there."

"The hell did you get actual absinthe around here?" Eliot was going to ignore the milk, thanks. But the quantity of booze definitely got an impressed eyebrow.

"I got a deal with a guy on the mainland," she said, holding out a bottle to him. Did he want it? 'Cause he could totally have it. ENJOY. "He places a special order for me whenever I run out. I'm not sure it's, like, legal? But I offered to jerk him off soooooo, win-win."

She got sex and absinthe. Pam made great life choices.

Eliot looked from Pam to the bottle -- then shrugged, nodded, and accepted the bottle. "Generous of you. Thanks."

"Hey, the more people get drunk, the better the odds are of this being a real orgy," Pam said brightly. "More of the win-win category."

"You know, I've never actually been in a real orgy."

Eliot was at least halfway drunk already, yeah.

"I was in a ... foursome?" Pam said, squinting. "With the Yakuza, a few times."

Not enough for an orgy. Still fun.

"The Yakuza." Eliot nodded, impressed. "Nice."

"... Do you know them?" Pam asked. "'Cause ... don't tell them I'm here or anything, okay? They kinda think I owe them money, 'cause I crashed a car when we were racing, and they got all mean about it so I skipped town."

Yeah, Eliot would be judging her pretty hard for that if he weren't pretty buzzed and very horny.

"Ran across 'em a coupla times. Don't worry, your secret's safe with me."

"Absinthe? Congratulations, you are now my favorite person at this party," Atticus said with a laugh.

"You're hot, and that means you're mine," Pam said, offering him a bottle. Like, did he want his own bottle? Pam had a shitload already. "Okay, you're kinda tied with everyone else here that's hot, which is, like, everyone. This orgy's off to a slow start."

"Oh, it's going to be an orgy? I think I missed that on the flyer," Atticus said, taking the bottle and somehow managing to keep a straight face.

"They're acting like it's not," Pam said. "But like. Everyone's super hot, and we're drinking, so I'm gonna be way disappointed if an orgy doesn't break out."

She planned on stripping nude anyway. That ought to help things along.
